TOP 10

Here is a list of my 10 favorite books right now (they change randomly)

01

If I Stay

by Gayle Forman. Romance and death together makes a good read (and good Korean dramas)

02

Me Before you

by Jojo Moyes. I watched it before I read it... lesson learnt. I call it 'The Fault In Our Stars' for older people.

03

Animal Farm

by George Orwell.True, the story's short. But that doesn't define that it is not packed with powerful content. About politics and pigs, there could't be a more interesting and funny story for kids and adults alike.

04

Eleanor and Park

by Rainbow Rowell. Many have said: 'urgh this is going to be as predictable as every other teen romance novel ever'. Hello, my friends from school. here's why they're wrong: the ending's not happy.

05

The Storyteller

by Jodi Picoult. I would think it was a book about me based on the title itself but far from it. The setting is set during the Nazi reign and present time. Anticipate to feel anticipation.

06

The Diary of a Young Girl

by Anne Frank. Honestly the plastering her face on the front cover, not the brightest idea ever. Knowing that the story was entirely accurate in how things were for her, it's surprising how a young girl stayed so positive in the happenings of having Nazis after her.

07

Micro

by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston. Bloody, Sciency and just plain gross, it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire journey. Spoiler, it's just like The Darkest Hour where everyone dies but a dude and a dudette.

08

The Gift of Rain

by Tan Twan Eng. I read this for a school book report and never looked back. About life during the Japanese occupation, no one writes a scene as beautiful and accurate as Tan.

09

The Whole Truth

by David Baldacci. I didn't expect to like it so much to be honest.

10

Pride and Prejudice

by Jane Austen. Let's face it Jane Austen was the coolest feminist ever!! This novel -like all her others- involves a character in pursuit of a man(not because she wants to) and finding it ultimately. Also, does anyone notice that there's nearly almost always a Charlotte in all her books.
